Mental Health Services and Phone Links

National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline:

Dial – 988 or 1-800-273-8255 (TALK)

Callers are given a greeting message while their call is routed to a local Lifeline network crisis center. A counselor will answer the phone and listen to the caller, to understand how the problem is affecting them, provide support and then share resources as well. English and Spanish speaking counselors will be able to speak with callers.

A chat function is available on the suicide lifeline website (In English) as well:

Screening, Assessment, and Support Services

The Screening, Assessment and Support Services (SASS) program for children and adolescents is a statewide program developed to provide improved coordination in the delivery of mental health services for youth experiencing a mental health crisis whose care will require public funding. The program has a single point of entry, Crisis and Referral Entry Service (CARES), and ensures that youth receive crisis services in the most appropriate setting.

If you need SASS services, contact the CARES line at 800-345-9049.
