Jessica Luo, M.A. – Counseling Intern

Jessica Luo is a clinical intern working under the supervision of Dr. Jonathan Alvin. She holds an M.A. degree in philosophy, with a focus in mathematics, from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A./M.A. in philosophy and religious studies from Stanford University. Her clinical approach is informed by an understanding of the entanglement between the desire for security and the desire for openness and freedom and how that entanglement lies at the root of our experiences of the world, ourselves, and each other.
