Wonder Institute was established to provide high quality contemporary depth-psychotherapy to the people of Wheaton, Illinois and it’s surrounding areas. The founder of Wonder Institute–Jonathan Alvin–has completed his doctoral training and years of advanced post-doctoral training in depth psychological methods. He felt there was a need for more psychotherapy practices that emphasize psychoanalytic psychotherapy in the Western Suburbs of Chicago.

Established in 2024, Wonder Institute aims to grow by providing psychoanalytic or psychodynamic psychotherapy to individuals while also providing training and careers to mental health practitioners interested in learning the craft of depth psychotherapy.
